About

Since our inception, Louisiana Child Neurology has been focused on providing quality pediatric specialty care close to home.  We are now expanding our mission by merging with Children's International Medical Group.

World-class pediatric care should not be limited to academic institutions in large metropolitan areas - it should be in your neighborhood.  Following five years of practice in Lafayette, Louisiana, Dr. Flatt opened a new clinic in Covington, Louisiana aimed at providing neurological care to those children in the I-12 corridor and surrounding areas at an easily accessible location.  Thus, Louisiana Child Neurology was founded and began accepting patients in September 2013.  Louisiana Child Neurology will now be merging into Children's International Medical Group in June 2018 and will be then based out of Hammond, Louisiana.

Our clinic will continue to be dedicated to offering clinical services that exceed the standard of care by providing a patient-centered approach with a heavy focus on education and one-on-one time with the physician.  We work closely with local hospitals, imaging centers and labs to provide all of the needed testing to complete any patient care encounter. We continue to grow a network of associated providers in the areas of psychology, psychiatry, physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy as well.  Developing this network of local support systems will allow the patient to began and complete care close to home.
