01

Where are you located?

Our office is in Covington, LA off of Highway 21. Exit 59 from I-12 will allow you to get on Highway 21 and then you can head north toward our clinic.  We are teh first left turn following the stop light located by the Sleep Number store on the left and the bank on the right.  There is a sign for Normandy Oaks at hte entrance and there is a Capital One Bank on the corner of Greenbrier and Highway 21.

02

Do you see patients in Lafayette?

We no longer have a follow-up only outreach clinic in Lafayette at the Kids Specialty Clinic.

03

What insurances do you take?

We are currently an in-network provider for BCBS, Humana, UHC, Aetna, Vantage, Gilsbar and Coventry.  We continue to add new insurances as we move forward.  We also are able to take Louisiana Medicaid, UHC Community Plan, AmeriHealth Caritas, LaCare, and Community Health Solutions.  We cannot see patients with Amerigroup at this time.

04

What do I need to bring to my appointment?

Although usually your referring provider will send us reports of testing or imaging for your child, it is always nice to see any imaging in person and not just rely on a report.  You may request your images be placed on a CD that can be brought to the appointment.

Also, we like to make sure we get an accurate recording of your child's current medications and any previous medications that he or she may have used.  You can get a printout from your pharmacy or you ay elect to bring your medications to the visit.  Some people have also elected to simply photograph the labels with their cell phones.

05

Will any testing be done the day of the appointment?

The answer is usually not.  Occasionally we may elect to do some lab work on the day of the appointment, but most of our studies require insurance authorization and scheduling. Younger patients may even require sedation for some procedures.
